The C.R.D. Community Care
Facilities Branch recommends that registration information be kept on file
for all children enrolled in a licensed facilitiy.
Inmmunization records must be recorded and kept
up to date. A letter must be kept on file from your doctor if your child's
immunizations have had to stop due to health concerns. This information
helps to contribute to high standards of health and safety for the
children.
Your child must be three years-old by December 31st of the current
school year. I will ask to see a birth certificate or BC Care Card at
registration.
The registration forms, registration fees and post-dated cheques must be completed BEFORE your child
enters preschool.

- A $40.00
Registration Fee is collected to cover insurance and administration
costs. This is a non-refundable amount. This will ensure a space for
your child.
- Monthly fees are to
be paid with post-dated cheques, payable the
first of every month. There will be ten cheques
dated September 2005 to June 2006.
- June 2006
fees will be non-refundable after March of 2006.
- NSF cheques will be paid in cash with an additional
$5.00 charge. Monthly fee will be paid in cash each month after.
- Families enrolling
from the 1st to the 15th of a month will pay a full month's fees.
Families enrolling after the 15th of a month will pay 1/2 the monthly
fee.
- There will be no
refunds for family vacations.
- Withdrawal of a
child will be given in writing ONE MONTH in advance. Notice
will be given on the first of the month.
*Government subsidies are
available. Please ask for further information.
ENROLLMENT POLICY
The children will be registered in the following order:
- Registered children
in their existing classes.
- Registered children
in the preschool.
- Siblings of
registered children.
- Children on the
waitlist from the community, which includes returning families.
- Families with
children from the community who call on a first come basis.
- There will be a
January 31st deadline.
- Registration fees
will be required by March 31st that year.
- Names on the
waitlists will be dated and kept in order of the calls. Parents will
be contacted in that order.
